Andrew Larson

Creative Director

Andrew supports Awal Nouzilal’s long-term growth by developing organizational systems, training and mentoring youth leaders, and strengthening team capacity in program design, operations, and communications. He leads the organization’s creative direction and storytelling, while building international partnerships and U.S.-based collaboration to support a sustainable, youth-led model in Azilal.

Ali Mohammed Qahir

Mohammed Ali leads Awal Nouzilal’s Morocco-based operations, overseeing program delivery, events, community outreach, and local partnerships. He manages the Azilal team and ensures day-to-day coordination across education, community development, and cultural initiatives—keeping the organization grounded, youth-led, and responsive to community needs.

    Program Coordinator

    Walid supports Awal Nouzilal’s programs in Azilal by coordinating logistics, contributing to social media planning, and strengthening relationships with local community partners. As part of the next generation of Awal Nouzilal leaders, he is actively building his skills through hands-on program experience and mentorship within the team.

  • Bader Boualan

    Team Support

    Bader provides flexible, project-based support for Awal Nouzilal while pursuing his university studies in Ouarzazate. When available, he assists with program logistics and contributes to key deliverables including filming support, translation, and team coordination—helping strengthen collaboration across the organization.

  • Noely Bernier

    Communications Manager

    Noely strengthens Awal Nouzilal’s communications and organizational systems by supporting website development, helping connect the Moroccan and U.S. teams, and assisting with the documentation and formalization of internal structures. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Atlas Mountains where she actively supported Awal Nouzilal’s vision through hands-on contributions to trainings, workshops, and ongoing program support.

Interns

Our interns support Awal Nouzilal’s work across education and community development. Through our internship program, youth gain valuable hard and soft skills while learning how to collaborate as a team and contribute to projects that create real impact in their community.
