Awal Nouzilal runs three connected program areas. Together, they help youth build skills, lead projects, and tell stories that preserve indigenous identity through the future.

Education
Our Education programs provide free learning opportunities that strengthen communication, leadership, and professional readiness. We focus on building confidence and skills that youth can apply immediately in school, work, and community projects.
Core Programs
1) English Communication (Beginner + Advanced)
Practical English focused on real-life communication, public speaking, and confidence.
2) Passport to Success (Life Skills Training)
Leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, goal-setting, and personal development—designed for youth building their next step.
3) Internships (Hands-on nonprofit experience)
Youth gain real experience supporting Awal Nouzilal operations in programming, community outreach, social media, and communications. Interns learn how to plan, deliver, and reflect on projects.
Our Goals
Youth improve communication and leadership confidence
Youth build practical skills for jobs and education
Youth gain real experience managing programs and teamwork
As “the Voice of Azilal,” our Cultural Initiatives uplift indigenous identity through youth creativity. We promote Tamazight dialects of the High and Middle Atlas and create positive channels for expression through art, theater, and storytelling.
What We Do
1) Language & Identity Promotion
We celebrate Tamazight as a living language—used in modern spaces, youth expression, and community pride.
2) Arts & Theater Programs
Creative workshops that help youth develop confidence, collaboration, and cultural expression through performance and artistic production.
3) Storytelling, Ethnography & Documentary Projects
We train youth to document local knowledge and everyday cultural life through interviews, film, and ethnographic storytelling—preserving identity through youth innovation, not only folklore.
Community Development
Our Goals
Youth gain tools to produce and share their own narratives.
Indigenous identity is represented with dignity and creativity.
Community stories are preserved and shared responsibly.
Cultural Initiatives
Our Community Development work strengthens local partnerships and creates opportunities for youth to contribute to Azilal through volunteer initiatives, exchange programs, and shared community space.
What We Do
1) Partnerships & Volunteerism
We collaborate with Moroccan initiatives and local community actors to support activities such as women’s literacy and children’s education programs.
2) Youth Exchange & Cross-Cultural Learning
We host exchanges and community-based learning experiences that encourage respectful cross-cultural communication between Moroccan youth and international visitors (including high school and university programs).
3) Hosting Volunteers & Study/Service Groups
We work with colleges, study abroad programs, and volunteers who want to support community projects in Azilal—through structured collaboration, not “volunteerism.”
Our Goals
More youth-led community initiatives in Azilal.
Stronger partnerships across Moroccan and international networks.
A shared community space that acts as a hub for learning and service.
